50th Anniversary Registration

This Registration Form will register you and your guest for the Capital Corvette Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration to be held from June 6, 2025 to June 8, 2025.  The 50th Anniversary Celebration will be headquartered at the Hilton Garden Inn – Ottawa Airport.

This Registration Form includes both inclusive activities (No Additional Charges) and Optional Activities that have additional charges associated with them.  Please read the Form carefully to ensure that you are aware of what commitments you are making.

Registration in the Celebration will include you in the following activities without additional charges (i.e. Base Registration fee of $150 per person applies).

* Friday Evening Registration, Cruise In & BBQ Social;

* Swag Bag Including Free Raffle Ticket ($1,500 Value) & T-Shirt;

* Digital Group Photo and Drone Video;

* Saturday Road Tours;

* Saturday Evening Gala with Eddie & the Stingrays and Buffet Dinner plus access to our 50/50 Draw, Silent Auction and our $1,500 Raffle Draw;

* Access to the Memorabilia Hall with 50 Years of Capital Corvette Club History on Display;

* Sunday Morning Corvette cruise-in and A-La-Carte breakfast.

NOTE: This registration does NOT cover your hotel rooms!  If you wish to stay at the hotel during the weekend of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations, you MUST register separately with the hotel.  There are special rates and rooms reserved for the 50th Anniversary Celebration and instructions are contained in the Punch Bowl Invitation for making your reservations with the hotel.

When you arrive and register for the weekend, you will receive one complimentary 50th Anniversary t-shirt. This t-shirt is suggested to be worn for the group photo on Saturday morning. Please select the Size and Style of your complimentary T-shirt below.

50th Anniversary Poster

The organizing committee has designed a 50th Anniversary Poster to be printed. This poster contains pictures of member cars that were submitted for the poster that will measure 24x36 inches. Perfect size for you to frame.

NOTE: If you do not see your car in the sample Poster below and you are a currently registered member of the Capital Corvette Club, it may not be too late.  Send us a picture to the e-mail address below prior to February 28, 2025 and we will endeavour to include it in the poster picture:

Posters will be ready for pick-up the weekend of the event.

Friday June 6 - Day 1

Friday is the main arrival day for many registrants.

In addition to the In-Person Registration for the weekend celebrations, the Capital Corvette Club organizing committee will be hosting a Friday evening meet and greet and cruise in at the hotel.

Friday evening attendees, will also have the opportunity to take part in a BBQ (eg. burgers, salads & fries) being held at the hotel for an additional cost per registrant.  We need numbers in advance for the hotel, so please indicate whether or not you want to participate in the BBQ. 

NOTE: A-la-Carte ordering may not be available at the time of our Registration.

Saturday June 7 - Day 2

Saturday will be filled with many events.

As noted previously, some activities are included with your registration and some will be at an additional cost, as noted below, if you choose to participate.

Saturday will start with a Group Photo and Drone Video. The location for the group photo is still being considered. The opportunity to have professional pictures taken of you and your car will be later in the day between 3:00-5:00 at the hotel.

The Group Photo and Drone Video will be available digitally to all registrants at no additional cost.  

Individual pictures are at an additional cost.  Due to our time constraints on that day, individual pictures must also be booked at the time of Registration (i.e. Now). 

You will be advised of the approximate time for your individual photo shoot at the time of registration at the hotel.

Our photographer will coordinate payment directly with you.

Cost: 1 photo - $30, 2 photos - $40, 4 photos - $60

After the group photo, the committee has organized several cruises for Saturday. You will have the opportunity to participate in one of them.  

Due to space limitations for each cruise, spots will be assigned on a first come - first served basis. 

We cannot guarantee that you will have your first choice of Cruise.

Cruises

Cruise 1: Lead - Brian Wattie

Cruise will leave photo location and head west either through Christie Lake or Fallbrook ending up in Maberly at the River House Vineyard for lunch. Then leave there and head back east to the hotel following various back roads through Perth, and Richmond.

Cruise 2: Lead - Bryce Durant

Cruise will leave photo location and head east to Morrisburg for lunch at the McIntosh restaurant, then over to Cardinal and back up towards Ottawa. There will also be a stop along the way to visit a local car collection.

Cruise 3: Lead - Ron Rail

Cruise will leave photo location and head south to the St. Raphael Ruins National Historic Site in Williamstown, with a stop for lunch at Quinn's in St. Andrews.

Cruise 4: Ray LaBrosse

Cruise will leave photo location and head West along highway 7 or 417 to Tatlock Road and then onto Calabogie Motorsports Park in Lanark County. There will be a lunch stop and then the cruise will head to Perth for a drive around the famous Last Duel Park before heading to Dwyer Hill and then back to Ottawa. 

Cruise 5: Lead - John Haralovich

Cruise will leave photo location and head to Riverside Drive and continue to Rideau River Road towards Merrickville-Wolford and Smiths Falls, and then along highway 15 to Carleton Place.  A stop is planned at the Bean GM Dealership in Carleton Place.  Return to Ottawa will be along highway 7.

Cruise 6: Lead - Bruce Dwyer

Cruise will leave photo location and head to the Canada Aviation Museum for a guided tour of the Museum including the reserve hangar collection and the Algonquin College labs with free time to explore the exhibits and relax in the café or shop in the gift shop.

Details of parking and visitation costs are being discussed with the Museum and will be finalized in the New Year.

Cruise Preference Selection

Things to remember for cruises:

  1. These are rain or shine events.
  2. Have a radio / walkie-talkie.
  3. Familiarize yourself with our cruise etiquette. (Will be in your welcome package)
  4. If you are interested in helping with your cruise, please contact your potentail cruise lead.

 

Sunday June 8 - Day 3

Sunday morning will begin with a cruise-in at a nearby location to be determined. This will be the same location where the Club will be organizing a breakfast/brunch for those registrants that wish to participate.

The breakfast/brunch will be a-la-carte but we still need numbers of people planning to attend so that we can appropriately advise the restaurant. 

Please indicate whether or not you would be attending the breakfast/brunch part of this event.

This will be at an additional cost paid directly to the restaurant.

Before submitting your registration, please do the following.

  1. Make sure your contact information is correct, especially phone number and email.
  2. Review all items, especially the items that are at an additional cost.
  3. Double check that the total adds up to what you have selected.
  4. There are no refunds after March 31, 2025 as the club needs to secure contracts with the hotel for space, meals, etc..

Payment Information

There is a $50 per person cancellation fee up until March 31, 2025. After this date, no refunds will be granted due to financial commitments for the event.
