CLUB FACT: (Source: Wendy Hall)
The first club gathering was May 10, 1975 at Nepean Sportsplex parking lot and party room. Three people, Larry Hall, Larry Heide and Sharon Powers, all had Vettes and thought there should be a Corvette Club in Ottawa. They printed up flyers and followed Corvettes to the people’s homes and gave them a flyer inviting them to attend a gathering at said place. Over 100 Vettes showed up and they proceeded to get volunteers to serve on the executive and the rest is history.
