President’s Message:
The Club held its first Road Tour of 2026 yesterday and it was a great success. Forty-four Members and twenty-four Corvettes running through the back roads of the Ottawa Valley on a bright sunny day made for the perfect picture! We had lunch at PJ’s in Arnprior which provided a great time to socialize before heading home. We have many more events in the planning stage; stay tuned so that you do not miss out!
Social Committee – VP Social Position:
It is with regret that we have to announce that Wanda Robinson, for personal reasons, has decided to resign her position as the V.P. Social with the Capital Corvette Club effective May 4, 2026. Wanda was a great asset to the Club and she will be missed.In the Interim, Lee-Anne Malouin has graciously offered to take over as Chair of the Social Committee. There is a lot of very hard work that goes on behind the scenes with the Social Committee to make all the “Fun stuff” happen. We are very fortunate to have Lee-Anne, Kim Rail, Pam Hall, and Kris Stolarik contributing their time and efforts.If you, or another Capital Corvette Club Member or Co-Member, are interested in serving the Club as Vice-President Social, please submit your name and contact information to president@capitalcorvetteclub.ca
Upcoming Events:The Social Events Calendar for 2026 is still actively being planned. We already have events planned for 2026 but we are always open for new ideas and suggestions. If you have been thinking of leading a cruise but have not done so yet, this is an excellent opportunity to volunteer. A pretty spring drive with a picnic or food truck stop is the ideal start to the new season. If you are interested, please send an email to:

Please Note: You must be Registered and Paid for 2026 in order to attend the following events. This is both our Bylaw and Insurance requirements.The following events are already in the Calendar:
– Cruise-in Dining at Little Turkish Village in Orleans – May 13th – Punch Bowl sent
– Steering for Steer Friends Car Show, Stouffville, ON – June 13th – Punch Bowl has been sent
– Myers Dealership Cruise-in – June 17th – Punch Bowl to be sent
– Westport Car Show – July 18th – Punch Bowl has been sent
– Niagara on the Lake Wineries Tour – September 16 to 19 – Punch Bowl to be sent
We still have many more events to be posted!
Please respond Yes or No to Punchbowl invites so that organizers have an accurate number of attendees. If something changes and you are not able to attend after you have already responded “Yes”, please go back and change your response to “No”. This is especially important for events where there is a cost. If you do not cancel before the deadline, we will not be able to issue a refund.
Membership:
Registration is always open and instructions are included on our Website. Our Early Bird Draw is over and the Winner for a free Membership for 2027 is Pam Hall. Congratulations to Pam! Registration for 2026 currently stands at 78 Members. We are always looking for new Members. If you know someone who might be interested please invite them to join.
