holiday season. Safe travels for those heading to warmer locations for the winter months.
Social Committee – Upcoming Events
Here is information on our last event:
- Saturday, December 7th – Year End/Christmas Party
- Punchbowl sent and deadline has passed. If you have responded yes and have not paid you can not attend as the number of attendees has already been provided to the hotel. There will be no refund of your payment if you cancel. The Club General Meeting will also be held just prior to the evening event. You do not need to be attending the dinner to attend the General Meeting. A separate email has been sent with the General Meeting agenda.
Information on upcoming events in 2025 are starting to get posted on the CCC website under the Events tab at the following link: https://capitalcorvetteclub.ca/events-2/ Thank you to the Social Committee for a fun filled, jam packed season! This includes the
extended Social Committee members who are helping with this year’s Year End Party. Without their efforts we would not have been able to hold so many great events. Thanks also to cruise leads and party hosts who played a big part in making these events a
success. We had many offers and volunteers always willing to help. We will need this to continue into 2025 as we prepare to celebrate the 50th Anniversary!
Registration 2025
Registration for the 2025 season is open! Register now and take advantage of the lower early bird price and entry into a chance to win free registration for one year! Early bird registration deadline is Friday, February 28, 2025. Remember, you must be a paid and registered member for 2025 to attend events in 2025. Once you complete your registration, watch for emails and Punchbowl invites to events starting early in 2025. Be sure to reply promptly to all invites so you don’t miss the deadlines!
CCC Clothing
As previously mentioned, we have put in place a partnership with Gadar Promotions to have a webstore for all your CCC clothing needs. The webstore will be up and running shortly. Watch for a separate email that will provide the link to the new webstore. In the
store you will be able to pick your item, add your preferences (colour, size, arm logo, etc.),pay and have it delivered to your door (at an additional cost). You can also choose to pick up your order at the Gadar office (1120 Morrison Drive, Unit 1).
50/50 Draws
Our 50/50 draws continue to take place at most of our events. The lucky winner at our last draw was Ron Rail. Ron took home $90. Thank you to Jane Duplante and Kathy Finter for running the 50/50 draws this year. With their help we have raised over $2000!
50th Anniversary Celebration 2025
Watch for the Save-the-Date and official invitation coming soon!! The 50th anniversary celebration is scheduled for Friday, June 6th to Sunday, June 8th. When you receive the Punchbowl invitation, please read it carefully and follow the instructions for event registration and be sure to complete your registration and payment before the deadline! If your registration and payment is not received prior to the deadline you will not be able to attend. Information continues to be added to the 50th Anniversary page on the website.
Reminder: Separate emails have been sent asking for help with memorabilia and a model display that will be part of the weekend celebration. Please respond as soon as possible if you are able to contribute.
