2026 February Newsletter

President’s Message:

Well, there is certainly no question that we have winter this year!  This extreme cold is projected to last through to mid February and maybe beyond.  No need to be sad though.  The Club is actively working on events for 2026 that are going to be memorable!

Make sure that you register for the 2026 Season.  Our early bird registration deadline is February 28, 2026.  Register before then and you will not miss any of our events and you will have your name entered for a free Membership.  Effective March 1^st all our mailing lists will be changed to include only Members and Co-Members who have registered and paid their fees for 2026.  Make sure you Register!

Social Committee – Upcoming Events:

The Social Events Calendar for 2026 is actively being planned.  We already have events planned for 2026.  Information on upcoming events in 2026 will be posted on the CCC website under the Events tab at the following link:

We are always looking for ideas for Cruises.  Have a suggestion?  Do not be shy.  Please let us know by sending an email to Wanda Robinson at:

The following events are already in the Calendar:

• Valentines Cruise in Dining – February 11 – Punch Bowl sent;
• Cruise in Dining – March 11 – Punch Bowl to be Sent;
• Darts Tournament and Pot Luck Dinner – March 21 – Punch Bowl to be Sent;
• Bowling Social – Mid April – Punch Bowl to be Sent.

Please respond Yes or No to Punchbowl invites so that organizers have an accurate number of attendees.  If something changes and you are not able to attend after you have already responded “Yes”, please go back and change your response to “No”.  This is especially important for events where there is a cost.  If you do not cancel before the deadline, we will not be able to issue a refund.

Membership

2026 Registration is fully open and instructions have been sent to all Members.  Please register ASAP to take advantage of the discounted Membership price ($90) and to be entered into the Draw for one years free Membership!  Deadline is February 28, 2026.

Anyone not registered by Sunday, March 1, 2026, will be removed from our invitations and distribution lists.  Club Members in good standing for 2025 will be notified of Club events up to February 28, 2026.  This is also the grace period for attending events without completing and paying for your 2026 registration.

Without completing the online registration for 2026, your registration is not complete. Sending only your payment is not considered registered for the upcoming year.

Note: It is important to keep your profile information current (member and co-member). You can update your personal information any time throughout the year by accessing your profile by logging into the Member’s Portal.
