This year a group of 10 member corvettes, lead by Bryce and Cathy, headed down to Carlisle Pennsylvania to attend the Corvettes at Carlisle show. We left early on Wednesday, 6:30 from Brockville, with a stop at the duty free shop. Part of the drive was through pouring rain, but we made it to Carlisle. We met up with the Niagara Corvette club members at a local micro brewery and then off to the hotel. On Friday, Bryce and Cathy lead a “covered bridge” tour that ended up losing directions, an encounter with a state trooper and some off roading (lost). The corvette show featured the new C8s, a unique display of 1969 corvettes, many vendors and cars. The stay at the hotel was as per usual, pool side chats, refreshments and socializing.
